My hands-on experience includes elevating wellness initiatives, enhancing participation rates, and collaborating with organizations to provide personalized lifestyle coaching and tailored movement programs.

FITNESS BACKGROUND

Growing up, I was always active, participating in various sports. Running became my passion, carrying me through high school and two competitive years at the University of South Carolina.

In my twenties, I embraced road races and marathons. During my first marathon in Myrtle Beach, my goal was to finish, but unexpectedly, I qualified for Boston. Seven weeks later, I self-coached at Boston and finished in 3:21, boosting my confidence. My personal best was 3:11:41 in the NYC Marathon.

Post-2008 Chicago Marathon, injuries challenged me, and doctors suggested giving up long-distance running. Determined to continue, I found a podiatrist, and this led me to the world of triathlons.
Researching, visiting local stores, and diving headfirst into triathlons, I finished my first half Ironman, placing 2nd overall female in 2010. Over the next five years, I became a 2X USA All-American Triathlete, ranked #1 in my age group in South Carolina in 2013, and competed in the 70.3 World Championships in 2014.
After Ironman Arizona in 2015, I decided to shift focus. In 2016, dedicating myself to instructing cycling at Cyclebar, I found a new passion and challenge.
